Amarachi is a sojourner who has scaled the East coast and world in search of home, and has found many homes in the narratives of strangers and loved ones near and far. She currently resides in Durham, NC where she serves in non-profit program management and public radio production (WNCU 90.7 FM).
Amarachi obtained her B.A. with honors in African and Afro-American studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of South Carolina-Columbia. Amarachi is passionate about social justice and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Amarachi's cross-cultural upbringing and international and domestic travels contribute simultaneously to her passion for identity politics, pop culture, fine arts, interior design, and fashion. In her downtime, she enjoys dancing, cooking, attending concerts, and spending quality time with friends and family.
